The 2015 International Motor Show in Frankfurt is just around the corner! It underlines a very important year for Honda, as they present the new model range of completely refreshed and brand new cars displayed together for the first time ever.
As well as revealing their new line-up, Honda will also display a number of design concepts and advanced technologies that epitomise their unique stance on meeting the personal motability challenges of today.
The all new HR-V and Jazz models will both be on display, with both showroom-bound models combining sophisticated new designs with the safety, interior space and versatility that Honda customers have grown accustomed to.
Alongside the HR-V and Jazz will sit one of the world’s best selling SUVs, the Honda CR-V. The award-winning CR-V is now available with a new diesel engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission as well as a number of world-first technologies that improve occupant safety.
Both the Honda Civic and the Civic Tourer have a sportier look both inside and out, as well as benefiting from the introduction of the Honda Connect system – an Android-based infotainment system that offers satellite navigation, radio, music streaming, internet access and more.
Perhaps the most exciting addition to the Honda range is their new race car for the road, the Honda Civic Type R. It is powered by an all-new 310HP 2.0-litre VTEC TURBO engine and is the most powerful and extreme model to ever wear the iconic red badge of the Type R.
The 2015 International Motor Show will also witness the global debut of ‘Honda Project 2&4’. A winner at a competition run between Honda’s design studios, Honda Project 2&4 represents the company’s drive to inspire and reward creative thinking.
Designed by Honda’s motorcycle design centre in Asaka and their automobile design centre in Wako, Japan, the Honda Project 2&4 is the embodiment of Honda’s ‘creative craftsmanship’. The cabinless display will provide visitors to the Honda stand with an immersive driving experience combining the freedom of a motorcycle with the mobility of a car.
The International Motor Show in Frankfurt begins on the 15th September. Check back for further updates.
