We at Glyn Hopkin are providing 26 Nissan vehicles, free-of-charge, for use by NHS workers. Our dealer group is one of 30 car dealers taking part in the initiative, coordinated by Nissan UK, to support frontline health workers with personal mobility during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The vehicles, supplied on a loan basis, include Nissan Micras, Jukes and Qashqais. All are provided at no cost and include complimentary insurance and roadside assistance*. The vehicles provided are prepared to a high standard and thoroughly sanitised, and are supplied to NHS workers with covers on the steering wheel, gear selector, handbrake, driver’s seat and footwell for added peace of mind.
Fraser Cohen, Managing Director, commented: “I am proud that our Glyn Hopkin Nissan dealers have been able to step up and help our local healthcare workers that are clearly under a great deal of pressure, and working so diligently for local people affected by the pandemic.”
NHS workers can register their interest in a free Nissan loan vehicle on the Nissan UK website. Their details will be relayed to their local dealer, who will be in contact to arrange the vehicle loan. The initial number of vehicles is limited, so those applying should not delay.
Key workers, including NHS employees, who currently own and are driving a Nissan vehicle can also access roadside assistance services free of charge, regardless of vehicle age or warranty coverage, to help them stay mobile during the coronavirus lockdown. In the event that roadside assistance is required, key workers can simply call Nissan Assistance on 0330 123 1231, give the details of their Nissan vehicle and a technician will be dispatched to assist them.
The cover includes roadside repair and recovery to the nearest Nissan dealership still open for after sales service. In addition, Nissan will prioritise free-of-charge courtesy cars for key workers should their vehicle need to be repaired at a dealership.
To all our amazing NHS staff and keywords. THANK YOU!
