The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is soon to expand and into Greater London!

Including parts of Essex, many Greater London areas are now at risk of the £12.50 daily charge.

Tackling the air pollution inside the capital, the ULEZ charge is in addition to the congestion charge fee that many drivers have to pay. From 25th October 2021 the zone will expand to include the inner London area bounded by the North and South Circular roads.

What cars are exempt?

Diesel - Only Euro 6 diesel cars are exempt. Almost every car registered since 1 st September 2015 will be exempt, as well as a small number which complied to the standards early.

Electric - All electric vehicles are exempt from the congestion charge
