The British-built Nissan Leaf is now available to order at Glyn Hopkin's 13 Nissan dealerships across London and the South East. First customer deliveries are scheduled for February 2026.
The new third-generation Leaf features a powerful 75kWh battery delivering an impressive range of up to 386 miles on a single charge. Powered by a 215bhp electric motor, the Leaf accelerates from 0-62mph in just 7.6 seconds. The advanced battery system supports rapid 150kW DC fast charging, enabling up to 273 miles of range in just 30 minutes.
The all-new Nissan Leaf is manufactured at Nissan's Sunderland production plant in North East England. As part of the EV36Zero project, the facility integrates electric vehicle manufacturing with battery production from Britain's newest gigafactory and 100% renewable energy.
The Leaf has been engineered specifically for European customers at Nissan's UK research and development centre in Cranfield, Bedfordshire.
The UK government's £650 million Electric Car Grant scheme runs until 2028/29 and offers up to £3,750 off qualifying electric vehicles. To qualify for the maximum grant, vehicles must meet strict sustainability and performance criteria including zero tailpipe emissions, minimum 100-mile range, and demonstrate science-based emissions reduction targets.
