The All-New Nissan NP300 Navara – Setting the benchmark for the one-tonne pick-up sector

Maintaining the Navara’s infamous off-road ability, durability and loading capacity the All-New Nissan NP300 offers improved comfort and further enhancements to raise the bar for the pick-up market.

Style and Design

The All-New NP300 Navara offers a truly unique driving experience as it combines outstanding efficiency as well as premium style and comfort. Every part of the cabin has been optimised to provide the best possible quality, comfort, space and practicality for both driver and passengers. The dashboard has been redesigned from the ground up with a new sculpted appearance to provide greater cabin space and a more open feel. New Spinal Support seats inspired by NASA provide further comfort along with dual-zone climate control and rear cab ventilation.

Outside, the NP300 has been designed to deliver a rugged yet sporty style, with a mixture of curved and dipped surfaces for a dynamic and bold look. However, not to forget distinctive Nissan cues, the NP300 includes signature V-motion grille and boomerang shaped LED daytime running lights.

As expected from Nissan, the new NP300 Navara includes an array of innovative technologies, despite being in a sector that traditionally has been very slow to adopt the latest comfort and safety features. Unique to the pick-up market, the NP300 Navara comes with Around View Monitor and Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) to provide customers with more advanced levels of technology not usually seen in the pick-up market.

Further safety and convenience features for the NP300 Navara include: Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Keyless-entry, rear-view camera and parking sensors
Handling and Towing

The new NP300 Navara contains a new lightweight multi-link rear suspension system, which provides significantly improved ride comfort and handling as well as being 20kg lighter than the previous layout.

The load carrying and towing ability across the range has been improved. The NP300 is prepared for any time of journey or job with payload ratings of more than one tonne across the range as well as an impressive towing capacity of 3,500kg.

The NP300 Navara comes with a new 2.3-litre dCi engine which is up to 24% more efficient than the unit it’s replacing as well as claiming to be the cleanest and most economical in its sector. The new model comes with two powertrain options and for the first time ever provides the option of a twin-turbocharged variant. There is also a choice of two or four-wheel drive as well as a standard six-speed manual or a new seven-speed manual.

The new Nissan NP300 Navara will also come with a five year or 100,000 mile manufacturer warranty, providing further peace of mind. The model is expected to go on sale in early 2016.
