The Nissan Qashqai underwent a striking transformation, aligning its design with the electric Ariya model. This update not only enhances its efficiency but also solidifies its standing as one of Europe's premier vehicles.
The updated rear end of the vehicle features a fresh set of clear LED lights, designed to complement the front lights. Additionally, the lower bumper has undergone a reprofiling to enhance its sporty appearance.
Nissan's aim with this update was to enhance efficiency and refine the vehicle's rolling dynamics. Measures such as thickening the windows have been implemented to further reduce wind noise, particularly at higher speeds.
The new Qashqai continues to prioritize electrification, offering a selection of powertrains including mild-hybrid petrol options with outputs of 138bhp and 148bhp, as well as the robust 187bhp E-Power full hybrid variant.
Internally, significant upgrades have been made to the Qashqai's onboard computing systems. These enhancements not only boost graphic quality but also improve processing times, ensuring a smoother and more responsive digital interface experience for drivers and passengers alike.
The upgraded infotainment system boasts significantly enhanced computing power, facilitating the adoption of Google's Android Auto operating system on top-tier trim levels. This advancement allows selected applications to run seamlessly on the system and be showcased across the instrument panel.
Additionally, the Qashqai's security features have received a significant boost. The Nissan Connect app now offers live tracking of the vehicle's whereabouts and can swiftly notify Nissan, insurers, and law enforcement authorities in the event of theft.
For added security, Nissan provides an optional subscription service for remote immobilization. This feature enables a call center to collaborate with law enforcement to immobilize a stolen vehicle while it's in motion.
