Rafael Krasnodebski owner of a pub in Cornwall will be using his seven-seater Nissan e-NV200 to make sure customers get home safely after last orders this Christmas.
The idea came around as way to combat drink-driving over the festive period, as well as promoting a more eco-friendly form of travel.
Rafael is a big fan of electric vehicles already owning an e-NV200 panel van which he uses for picking up stock. With the electric van costing an average of just 2p per mile to run, it means the extra late-night journeys won’t hit him in the pocket.
When speaking about the vehicle and his idea he said that he was a “huge believer in electric vehicles” and “loves” the e-NV200. He further went on to explain that having this idea in motion means that people can have a “good time without the worry of getting home afterwards” and can “experience electric motoring” for themselves.
As well as the cheaper running costs, the e-NV200 is the perfect choice for enduring the tough terrain around Cornwall’s rural roads and for the 40-mile trips.
In addition to low running costs and emissions, Rafael benefits from low maintenance costs which are £1,200 lower than a conventional diesel van over four years, as well as experiencing less fatigue due to the lack of engine vibration in the cabin.
Rafael finished by saying that the e-NV200 is a “pleasure to drive” and saves him a “fortune on running costs” making perfect business sense to him.
The Nissan e-NV200 is available at Glyn Hopkin from only £199 per month + VAT.
