Nissan Extends You+Nissan Customer Promise

After proving so successful since its UK launch in 2010, Nissan is now extending its reach across Europe with its thriving You+Nissan scheme to create one of the industry’s most comprehensive customer service promises.

The initiative undertakes six core pledges these include: lifetime Nissan assistances, simple fixed price servicing with price-match, a free video vehicle health-check, free courtesy car with any service operation, test drive availability and rapid complaint handling. These pledges aim to make Nissan ownership easier as well as building trust and satisfaction with their customers

Whilst this concept will be new around Europe it has already been well established within the UK with great triumph. However, the UK won’t be missing out with an enhanced scheme including two separate aftersales initiatives originally only available in certain locations.

The first is a straightforward fixed price servicing plan, joined with a price match guarantee. This will ensure that Nissan dealerships always deliver the best value for money when it comes to servicing and repair.

The second is a free video health assessment that all Nissan customers will receive of their vehicle whenever it is due for a service, aiming to improve trust and transparency.

The enhancements and growth of the You+Nissan scheme comes as Nissan’s exciting new retail concept which is being rolled out Europe-wide. By the end of March 2016 a total of 450 sites will feature the striking new concept, increasing to Nissan entire European Network of 2,500 sites by 2018.

With this perfect combination of the You+Nissan scheme and the retail concept, Nissan are further strengthening their reputation providing both a retail environment and ownership experience that can help the brand achieve its growth aspirations.

Guillaume Cartier, Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Nissan Europe said that they put the “customer at the heart of everything we do” and that the online retail experience will put “design, interactivity, trust and technology back at the centre to revolutionise our retail experience, both in a physical and digital sense.”

He further added that “quality and trust are hallmarks of the Nissan brand” and that these standards should be the same “no matter where you live.”

Under the full You+Nissan Customer Promise, Nissan promises to:

  • Keep customers mobile with a free of charge courtesy car or lift when their vehicle is in for service or repair.
  • Provide a free vehicle assessment by video to help customers understand what’s going on with their vehicle’s service.
  • Offer simple fixed price servicing and the best value for money by matching like-for-life written quotes within 10 miles of your local dealer.
  • Provide a continuous roadside assistance free – offering a maximum peace of mind.
  • Propose a resolution to any problem within two working days.
  • Enable customers to test drive any Nissan model when pre-booked online or through the customer service centre.

There are also some additional You+Me pledges for drivers of the all-electric Nissan LEAF family hatchback and e-NV200 panel van and Combi which include: free rapid charge at Nissan dealerships or the Ecotricity Electric Highway, borrowing a petrol or diesel Nissan for up to 14 days, 24 hour test drive of the Nissan LEAF or e-NV200 and five year or 60,000 mile battery state of health guarantee.
