The German Commercial Vehicle Awards are governed by German trade publications Handwerk-Magazin and the Duetschen Handwerks Zeitung, which are considered important indications of quality within the sector. Voted by tradespeople – the true experts in durability and practicality – every vehicle undergoes vigorous testing over a two-day period. In total 15 business proprietors and master craftspeople from different trades took part in this year’s testing, which features electric vans for the first time.
On receiving the award, Gareth Dunsmore, Director of Electric Vehicles, Nissan Europe, said: “It’s great to see our all-electric LCV well regarded by both the industry and tradespeople alike. Over the last five years, we’ve seen more and more people make the switch to electric through the Nissan LEAF and e-NV200, businesses are no exception. “
