Auto Express selected the LEAF as its overall Car of the Year after assessing the latest vehicles across the UK market.
The publication praised the model’s balance of range, performance, efficiency and competitive pricing, describing it as an outstanding electric family car that places the needs and comfort of its owners at the centre of the driving experience.
Available with a choice of 52kWh and 75kWh battery options, the All-New Nissan LEAF offers a flexible solution for different driving requirements. The extended-range model can provide up to 386 miles of WLTP driving range, helping make longer electric journeys easier and more convenient.
Prices currently start from £28,849 for selected 52kWh versions and £32,249 for selected 75kWh versions, including the applicable £3,750 UK Government Electric Car Grant.
The All-New Nissan LEAF combines a streamlined crossover-inspired design with a spacious, practical and technology-focused interior.
Its features include dual 14.3-inch display screens, NissanConnect with Google built-in, intelligent route planning and a selection of advanced driver assistance systems. A 437-litre boot also provides useful space for shopping, luggage and everyday family requirements.
Selected versions are available with additional equipment such as a head-up display, a dimming panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, a BOSE audio system and vehicle-to-load technology.
Vehicle-to-load allows compatible electrical appliances and devices to draw energy from the LEAF’s battery, adding another level of flexibility to electric vehicle ownership.

The latest LEAF is the most advanced British-built Nissan to date.
Its exterior design was developed by Nissan Design Europe in London, with engineering support provided by Nissan’s technical centre in Cranfield. The finished vehicle is manufactured at Nissan’s Sunderland plant.
