The Nissan Qashqai has been named Best Family Car at the RAC New Car Awards 2026, recognising the British-built SUV's ability to make everyday family journeys comfortable and straightforward.

Designed in Paddington, engineered in Cranfield and manufactured in Sunderland, the Qashqai has a strong British connection. Nissan reports that more than four million have been sold across Europe, adding to a long history of family journeys.
