The all-new, all-electric Nissan MICRA has received Green NCAP’s maximum five-star sustainability rating, recognising its strong environmental performance. The 52kWh version achieved an impressive overall score of 94%, providing independent recognition of its electric credentials.
MICRA’s assessment included 9.3 out of 10 for Energy Efficiency, 10 out of 10 for Greenhouse Gases and 9.1 out of 10 for Clean Air. Its Cold Winter Performance also received a “Good” rating.
Green NCAP considers environmental impact throughout a vehicle’s life, including production, everyday use and end-of-life treatment. This gives drivers a broader understanding of environmental performance beyond tailpipe emissions alone.
The sixth-generation MICRA was developed specifically with European customers in mind and marks the nameplate’s transformation into a fully EV. Its compact footprint is well suited to Europe’s urban environments and narrow streets, while its range and charging capability give customers the flexibility to travel beyond the city when needed.
Its exterior was created at Nissan Design Europe in London, giving the model its distinctive Nissan identity. Pronounced wheel arches and signature lighting give the car an expressive character that builds on the personality established across five previous generations of MICRA.
Inside, connected technologies support everyday usability, including NissanConnect with Google built-in, route planning incorporating charging stops.
With distinctive styling created at Nissan Design Europe in London, MICRA combines compact dimensions with everyday practicality. Choose between 40kWh and 52kWh batteries, offering up to 196 miles and 257 miles of WLTP range respectively, depending on specification.
