Bigger EV Grant For MICRA Customers

Extended range versions of the all-new, all-electric Nissan MICRA now qualify for the full £3,750 UK Electric Car Grant – and that means even greater value for Glyn Hopkin Nissan customers. Thanks to a new Europe-sourced battery, the MICRA 52kWh – built at the ElectriCity production hub in northern France – is now priced from £23,245 with the higher Electric Car Grant applied.

Existing And New Orders Benefit

First UK customer deliveries of the exciting new city car are due in the coming weeks, and Nissan has confirmed that both existing and future customer orders for the MICRA 52kWh will benefit from the full EV discount. MICRA 40kWh versions also continue to qualify for the lower £1,500 Electric Car Grant, giving buyers a choice of range and budget.

Available with two battery options, the range starts with the 40kWh model, capable of up to 196 miles on a single charge (WLTP), which qualifies for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant. The longer-range MICRA 52kWh model can travel up to 257 miles on a single charge (WLTP) and qualifies for the higher £3,750 Electric Car Grant, giving customers the flexibility to choose the driving range that best fits their lifestyle.
