Nissan NISMO Range Expanded – Geneva Approves!

The Geneva International Motor Show is one of the main attractions in the motoring calendar. Concepts are unveiled, production models announced and opinions are often split, but the new range of Nissan NISMO vehicles managed to take the event by storm.

Nissan revealed a line up of powerful, sporty and even record-breaking additions to the NISMO range that emphasise their burning ambition and commitment to deliver performance, passion and advanced racing technology to the average road car driver.

The Juke NISMO RS is the perfect example of Nissan’s pioneering approach to performance motoring as they look to re-write the crossover rulebook. Developed with NISMO’s extensive global motorsport experience, the 1.6-litre DIG-T engine produces 218 HP and 280Nm of torque.

The Juke NISMO RS also sees improvements to the chassis, improved handling, and coupled with a more powerful braking system with larger discs, the driver will really feel in complete control behind the wheel.

The sportiest 370Z of all time really encapsulates the essence of bringing performance motoring to the average driver and placing them at the heart of the action. The 370Z NISMO is powered by a 344HP 3.7-litre six-cylinder engine that allows for a 0-62mph time of just 5.2 seconds whilst delivering the perfect sporting sound track through the NISMO dual exhaust system.

To improve the overall ride comfort Nissan have made some alterations to the suspension system and made changes to the interior carpets and inner rear wheel arch protectors to reduce the interior noise levels. The 370Z NISMO is only available as a coupe with a six-speed manual transmission.

The GT-R NISMO was first revealed to the public at the Paris Motor Show in 2014 and drew plenty of interest when it was announced as the fastest and most advanced Nissan performance production car of all time.

Now it is officially on sale, customers can experience the joys of owning a 600HP 3.8-litere twin turbocharged V6 engine GT-R NISMO. The combination of the engine, a revised aerodynamic design that generates an additional 100kg of downforce and a finely tuned suspension set up makes the GT-R NISMO one of the most exciting road legal cars that money can buy.

It currently holds the lap record for a mass production car around the world famous Nurburgring Nordschleife and is the perfect embodiment of the Nissan brand.
