New Fiat Qubo now available to order in UK

The new Fiat Qubo MPV is now available to order in the UK, demonstrating again the expertise and experience that Fiat has in designing and building cars that are compact on the outside but generous on the inside in terms of both personality and interior space.

Sitting alongside the rest of the functional family including the popular Panda, versatile Doblo and all-new Tipo hatchback and station wage, the new Fiat Qubo maintains its 3.96m long and 1.7m wide dimensions meaning it continues to follow the footprint of a supermini while having an interior that is more of an MPV. Space inside the Qubo is generous with ample room for five adults and a roomy 250-lite boot which grows to 650-litres when the parcel shelf is removed or an impressive 2,500 litres with the rest seats removed. Equipped with the optional folding of the front passenger seat, the Fiat Qubo can even accommodate long objects of up to 2.5m in length.

A large hatchback tailgate not only allows easy access to the boot from every angle for various shapes and sizes, it also provides useful shelter in rainy weather making it extremely versatile. In total there are 16 different seating configurations with the rear seats accessed by practical sliding doors – perfect for those small tight spaces!

For 2016, the Fiat Qubo has been completely revamped outside combining Italian style with everyday practicality. Helping to define the Qubo’s friendly face are new front bumper high-mounted headlamps paired with a new front grille and chunky new front bumper which offer improved night-time vision as well as limiting the likelihood of damage in the event of a minor incident. High Spec Trekking versions also benefit from new skid plate panels in the front and rear bumpers, special side mouldings both with silver inserts and special Trekking alloy wheels with mud-and-snow tyres.

The rear has also been updated with the large circular indentation giving way to a straight, flat panel with a more sophisticated position for the Fiat badge. The choice of exterior colours has been expanded too with two new shades; Magnetic Bronze and Azure Blue, while new wheel cover and allot wheel designs complete the exterior look.

Inside, the new Fiat Qubo cabin is stylish and functional with the addition of a new steering wheel design with black mirror-finish detailing on the spokes and centre console surround, new instruments, new seat upholstery and new infotainment system including a new Uconnect system with a five-inch colour touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and Aux-in ports as well as an optional satellite navigation.

The new Fiat Qubo is available in three trim levels: Pop, Lounge and Trekking. Standard equipment on the entry level Pop version includes: remote central locking, electric front windows, electrically adjusted and adjustable door mirrors, body coloured bumpers and mirror covers, height-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and an arm rest and opening rear quarter-light windows. Safety equipment includes ABS with EBD, ESC with ASR, HBA, Hill Holder system and front and side airbags.

Higher spec versions see the addition of features such as front fog lights, colour five-inch Uconnect infotainment system, rear parking sensors and cruise control.

Prices start from £11,695 OTR for the entry level POP and rise to £15,695 OTR for the Trekking. The new Fiat Qubo is available to order in the UK now.
