New Fiat 500 retains title at What Car? 2022 Electric Car Awards

It’s not difficult to see why the new, fully-electric Fiat 500 has retained its title as best small electric car at the What Car? 2022 Electric Car Awards.

For the second consecutive year, Fiat’s first fully-electric model has kept any competition firmly at bay being one the most popular and iconic small cars on sale today.

Judges praised the car for its smile-inducing performance, attractive price point and design.

The New 500 with its electric-specific packaging brings with it a very smooth, quiet, and nippy ride.

There are best-in-class features such as Level 2 Autonomous Driving technologies and a substantial driving range of up to 199 miles (WLTP) – the longest range of any electric city car on the market today.

Boasting a whole raft of entry levels, New 500 includes three trim levels (Action, Icon and La Prima) as well as convertible options from the Icon trim upwards.

Only last month, New 500 also retained its title for a second consecutive year, as City Car of the Year at the annual Auto Express awards and has reached a significant landmark of being chosen by over 100,000 customers globally.
