Introducing the Fiat 500 Riva

Two symbols of Italian style and elegance have come together in the form of a Fiat 500 Riva. The exclusive model is aimed at motorists who seek the same exclusivity of Aquariva Super yacht – the current Riva icon – but in an accessible everyday package.

The Fiat 500 Riva is finished in “Sera Blue”, an exclusive colour for this limited edition model and one of the most popular for the Aquariva Super, successor to the legendary Aquarama.

The convertible version is equipped with an exclusive new blue soft top, while the hatchback gets a panoramic glass roof as standard. However, what really sets the model apart is its detailing: Externally, in addition to the exclusive colour, the mirror caps have a chrome finish, as do the handles and the bonnet trim. A double aquamarine line sweeps along the belt line, enhancing the soft profile of the 500, while brand new 16-inch, 20-spoke alloy wheels, with a special blue finish give the model a striking edge. Finishing the look is the nautical logo which takes pride of place on the boot lid, wheel arch and the wooden insert of the side moulding.

Inside, the dashboard boasts a hand-painted mahogany with maple inlay work, providing occupants with a luxurious warmth along with the prominent Riva logo. The wood was sent through an innovative engineering process so that state of the art technologies could be perfectly blended with natural wood and classic craftsmanship.

The door sills and gear knobs are also carved from a solid piece of mahogany, while the seats are trimmed in exclusive ivory leather. Even the floor mats have had the special treatment with ivory hems and contrasting “Sera Blue” stitching.

Safety also isn’t a problem with the Fiat 500 Riva including as standard: seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, ASR, Hill Holder and HBA that helps with emergency braking.

Luxury equipment includes: automatic climate control, front fog lights, rear parking sensors, LED DRL’s and a seven-inch TFT instrument cluster with aquamarine background and Riva logo. In addition the dashboard incorporates Fiat’s latest seven-inch HD Uconnect LIVE infotainment system which offers a number of features. The system can also be upgraded with a 3D satellite navigation system.

The new Fiat Riva will be available in the UK from the end of August with three engine options: 1.2-litre 69hp, TwinAir 85hp and TwinAir 105 hp. The Fiat 500 range starts at £11,050 OTR with the UK pricing for the Fiat 500 Riva being announced closer to its launch date.
