Only two months after launching in the UK, the All-New Renault Kadjar has won Best Crossover at the Next Green Car Awards.
The brand-new family-sized crossover was up against some tough competition, but came out on top with the judges complimenting its efficiency, space and value for money.
Selection into the awards is made by Next Green Car’s unique NGC Rating which rates the environmental impact of all new cars on the market. This impact is measured alongside other factors including capability, suitability for purpose, impact on its sector and value for money to decide which models are shortlisted for the award.
The All-New Renault Kadjar provides some impressively low emissions of just 99g/km of CO2 – joint best-in-class – and fuel economy of up to 74.3mpg on the Combined Cycle (NEDC). Commenting on their decision on awarding the All-New Renault Kadjar the judges from Next Green Car said that the Kadjar “easily takes the title” thanks to its “efficient, comfortable, spacious and good value for money.”
Ken Ramirez, Managing Director, Renault UK said that the company was “delighted” in winning the award and “not only for its environmental credentials, but also its practicality, comfort, and value for money too.”
Since its arrival in the UK in September 2015 the Kadjar has made quite an impression thanks to its striking design, efficient powertrains, spacious interior, high levels of standard equipment, first-class residual values and a five-star Euro NACP rating.
The All-New Renault Kadjar is available with a choice of two diesels or one petrol engine, in manual or automatic transmissions with two-or-four wheel drive. In addition, there is a selection of four trim levels for customers to choose from.
