Brakes are key to your driving safety. Glyn Hopkin offer great value for money, peace of mind and reassurance – for your braking safety. To avoid unexpected brake failure, replacing your brake pads before they completely wear to the metal brake pad backing extends the life of your brake disc.

When should brake pads and discs be replaced?

Sometimes, both pads and discs will need changing and replacing at the same time though generally discs will outlast the life expectancy of pads. Front brake discs will eventually get too thin, which could result in overheating and losing efficiency.

Air Conditioning Service

Air Conditioning service - £69.99

Vehicle air conditioning systems can lose refrigerant gas over time, especially if they aren't used regularly, which means that they may not work as well as they should.

This is why it is recommend your air con system is recharged with gas and lubricant every 2 years. This service is not part of routine vehicle servicing, so if your vehicle is more than 2 years old it’s probably due an air con recharge.

Does your air conditioning need a re-gas?

  • In the hot weather does your vehicle's air conditioning fail to cool the car sufficiently?
  • Do the windows fail to de-mist with the air conditioning on?
  • Does the air conditioning make a strange noise when running?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then your air conditioning may need an air conditioning re-gas.

MOT



Prices start from only £54.85

The MOT will ensure your vehicle complies with key safety and environmental requirements.

When to book my car for an MOT?

The first test is required once a car is 3 years old.

After that, it will need an MOT every 12 months.

Why choose a Renault dealer to book my MOT?

All of our testers are UK Vehicle Inspectorate trained and we will only be using Renault approved parts to carry out any necessary repair work.

Also, all our work will be guaranteed for a year.

On the day, our Renault experts will inspect the following:

  • Bodywork, doors and mirrors
  • Lights and horn
  • Brakes
  • Steering and suspension
  • Tyre's and wheels
  • Windscreen, wipers and washer bottle
  • Exhaust fuel and emissions
  • Seats and seat belts
  • Vehicle Identification Number
