Renault Megane E-Tech New Car Offers

This stylish and sporty crossover rides on minimum-size 18-inch alloy wheels and comes with a number of time-saving features, such as wing mirrors that tilt and fold automatically. Inside, there’s abundant knee and headroom in both compartments – and front-row travellers are provided with adjustable positions, and the driver with a heated steering wheel. Meanwhile, a 440-litre boot can easily be expanded to 1,332 litres, which is more than is offered by the Volkswagen ID.3, for example.

The car’s all-electric drivetrain consists of an electric motor and a 60kWh lithium-ion battery, which facilitates 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds and a maximum 280-mile range. Naturally, while being very cost-effective to run, the Megane E-Tech produces zero CO2 and NO emissions.

Entry-level Equilibre grades are furnished with a 12.3-inch driver information display, a nine-inch multimedia screen, a four-speaker Arkamys sound system, and front and rear USB-C inputs. If you fancy an infotainment upgrade, next-tier Techno trims add a satellite navigation system, Android/Apple smartphone mirroring technology and two additional loudspeakers. Top-tier Launch Edition grades, meanwhile, feature a nine-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

The Renault Megane E-Tech’s family-car status is further enhanced by a full five-star Euro NCAP crash-test score – and the inclusion of myriad passive and active protective features. As well as multiple airbags, front and rear seatbelt reminders and ISOFIX child-seat anchorage, the car comes with lots of standard-issue driving-assist tech. For instance, when driving at speeds of between 40mph and 99mph, Lane-keeping Assist ensures the vehicle remains within its lane.
