Scenic E-Tech Electric Wins European Car of the Year 2024 Award

Scenic E-Tech Electric has been crowned The Car of the Year 2024. The results were revealed during a ceremony at the Geneva Motor Show (Switzerland) on Monday, 26th February.
Following the initial round of voting last November, Scenic emerged as one of the seven finalists alongside: BMW 5-series, BYD Seal, Kia EV9, Peugeot E-3008/3008, Toyota C-HR, and Volvo EX30.
The winner of the trophy was determined by a panel of 59 motoring journalists from 22 countries. Scenic secured the top spot with 329 points, marking the seventh time a Renault vehicle has received the esteemed ‘The Car of the Year’ accolade. Previous recipients include the Renault 16 (1966), Renault 9 (1982), Clio (1991), Scenic (1997), Megane (2003), and Clio (2006).

Emitting zero emissions, agile, lightweight (1,890 kg), and compact (4.47 m long), Scenic thrives on city roads. For longer journeys, Scenic offers up to 379 miles of range (WLTP), coupled with a comfortable, roomy interior, and an array of technology to elevate driving pleasure.
The starting price for the Scenic E-Tech Electric is now set at £37,495 OTR, following the recent announcement that the 60kWh (170hp) Comfort Range will be available on the techno trim in the UK. Orders are already open, with the first vehicles slated to arrive in the Renault network later this year.
