The Renault 5 E-Tech is expected to arrive on UK roads in spring 2025, with demonstration models available for test drives from March. For those eager to secure theirs early, Renault has launched the R-Pass, which allows customers to reserve their place and be among the first to take delivery.
This electric marvel offers two powertrain options to suit your needs. The urban range, with its 120hp motor and 40kWh battery, delivers a range of up to 190 miles*, perfect for city driving. For those looking for a bit more, the comfort range features a 150hp motor and a 52kWh battery, offering a range of up to 248 miles*. Both models support rapid charging, reaching 80% in just 30 minutes, so you’ll never have to worry about waiting long to get back on the road.
Design is where the Renault 5 E-Tech truly shines. The exterior is a fresh yet nostalgic nod to its iconic predecessor, with colour options such as Pop Yellow and Pop Green nostalgic nod to the 1970s. For a more understated look, Arctic White, Midnight Blue, and Diamond Black are also available, with two-tone options adding a touch of flair. Inside, the fun continues with denim upholstery made from recycled materials on the techno trim, while the iconic five trim boasts heather yellow seats with bold “5” detailing.
The cabin blends vintage charm with modern tech, including a dual-screen setup featuring a 10.1-inch multimedia display powered by the award-winning OpenR Link system with Google built-in and a digital driver’s panel (7-inch on evolution, 10-inch on techno and iconic five).
