Renault Kadjar adds new range-topper and Transmissions option

Renault has strengthened it admired Kadjar line-up with the addition of a top-of-the-range Signature S Nav version as well as the introduction of the 7-speed efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) automatic gearbox combines with the ENERGY TCe 130 engine.

Providing drivers with even greater choice and adding further desirability of the award-winning Kadjar, the enhancements introduce even higher levels of comfort, convenience and refinement to the family crossover.

Based on the generously equipped Signature Nav version, the Signature S Nav specification adds full leather upholstery with electrically-adjustable driver’s seat height and heated front seats; along with hands-free parking, blind spot warning, rear parking camera and parking sensors on both the front and rear.

Buyers have the choice of two diesels and one petrol engine to power the model, automatic EDC or manual transmission, and either two-wheel or four-wheel drive.

The Signature S Nav’s additional equipment builds on an extensive specification that includes panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, hands free keycard, heated and folding door mirrors, R-link 2 multimedia system with 7-inch touchscreen, TomTom LIVE services, Bluetooth and BOSE sound system.

With the addition of this new range-topper, Renault Kadjar customers are now able to choose from a total of five trim levels.

The advanced, highly responsive 7-speed EDC gearbox on the flexible ENERGY TCe130 engine allows buyers, from Dynamique NAV trim and upwards, to order an automatic, petrol-engined Renault Kadjar for the first time. Costing £1,200 more than the equivalent manual version, the EDC dual clutch transmission changes gear almost instantly with CO2 output and combined fuel consumption almost identical to that of the manual.

Since its arrival in the UK in September 2015, the Kadjar has strengthened Renault’s presence in the crossover market – adding to the success of its compact crossover sibling – Captur. With its combination of striking design, efficient powertrains, spacious interior, high levels of standard specification, best-in-class residual values and five-star Euro NCAP rating, it’s no surprise the vehicle has become a popular hit with British car buyers.

The new Kadjar Signature S Nav is available from £23,695 OTR - a premium of £1,400 over the Signature Nav but with £1,750 of additional equipment.
