Glyn Hopkin BYD St Albans Welcomes International Leadership Delegation

Glyn Hopkin BYD St Albans was proud to welcome senior European directors, UK aftersales leaders and representatives from BYD’s central team in China for an international dealership standards review.

Approximately 40 delegates attended the visit, which formed part of BYD’s global initiative to review dealership facilities and support consistent standards across its worldwide network.

Among those attending were Cokey Huang, BYD Director of Europe; Maurizio Pisano, BYD UK Aftersales Director; and Hugo Ge, BYD UK National Aftersales Manager.

Reviewing Our St Albans Facilities

Led by BYD’s central team, the visit included a detailed review and mini audit of the St Albans facility, covering key aspects of dealership and aftersales operations.

The review focused on:

• Workshop facilities: The layout, infrastructure and operational readiness of the aftersales workshop.
• Specialist tooling and equipment: The availability and suitability of BYD-approved tools used to support vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Branding and signage: The dealership’s presentation against BYD’s corporate identity and visual standards.
• Minimum operating standards: The facility’s alignment with BYD’s global requirements for dealership and aftersales operations.

For Glyn Hopkin, the visit provided an opportunity to showcase the investment, facilities and technical capability supporting BYD customers at St Albans.
