Renault has announced new enhanced traction solutions to further help the needs of business customers who operate in challenging terrain conditions.
Set to be available across the whole LCV range, the new X-Track technology provides even higher traction performance for intensive use in particularly challenging conditions. This new feature is available across the Kangoo, Trafic and Master line-ups and covers four main aspects of the vehicle: Limited Slip Differential, a raised ground clearance, under body protection and All Weather tyres.
In addition, the Renault Master can now be offered with 4x4 transmission to provide outstanding traction for intensive use on difficult terrain and low-grip conditions.Drivers of the Renault Master 4x4 will now have the choice between two modes: 4x2 transmission for normal roads or a 4x4 mode for poor quality roads or off-road use.
The new X-Track versions and Master 4x4 complement the existing Grip Xtend technology which is designed to deliver enhanced grip for special use on slippery terrain. Grip Xtend is a standard feature on the Renault Kangoo (ICE versions only, Trafic and Master PC and LCV ranges in Europe.
The X-Track versions will be available in Europe from later in 2016 while the Master 4x4 is set to be available from the summer.
