Renault has announced free of charge upgrades to their Clio and Captur models.
Apart from the entry level models, every Clio and Captur will now come with a DAB radio as standard, with either the MediaNav or R-Link infotainment systems. The addition of the DAB radio means that passengers now have access to even more radio stations for their journeys. Both the MediaNav and R-Link have been upgraded for further driving enjoyment. The newly-designed MediaNav now includes Bluetooth streaming, TMC traffic information and Siri “Eyes-Free” for compatible iPhones, whilst the R-Link system welcomes the addition of a new, clearer and more sensitive screen which allows for multi-touch motion’s such as ‘pinch to zoom’.
The Clio is available in five different trim levels with the previously name Clio Expression+ being renamed as ‘Clio Play’ to bring the B-segment supermini into line with its smaller city car sibling, Twingo. The range offers one diesel and two petrol engines and prices start from £11,145. The Dynamique S Nav model in the range has also received an upgrade with a leather steering wheel and grey upholstery. In addition to these upgrades, the Clio is also available with several personalisation options to really make it suited to the driver’s preferences. Personalisation options include the GT Line look pack, coloured 16 and 17-inch alloy wheels, exterior and interior coloured touch packs, Accessory packs such as the carbon-look Styling Pack, a sporty Spoiler Pack, a Protection Pack to include parking sensors and a Touring Pack with quick release tow bar.
The Captur is available in four trim levels and offers a range of two petrol and two diesel engines, with prices starting from £14,295. The Captur has been the best-selling compact crossover in Europe year-to-date in 2015 and, as of the end of August this year, has sold over 416,000 vehicles globally since its launch in 2013.
