Clio R.S 16 concept car revealed

Renault Sport has revealed a new concept car on the streets of Monaco’s recent Grand Prix circuit with the help of Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Kevin Magnussen.

The Clio R.S 16 is the highest performing Renault Sport road-going vehicle ever and its reveal comes at a special time with Renault celebrating 40 years of Renault Sport as well as the brand’s return to Formula one as a constructor.

The Renault Clio R.S 16 was made in record time thanks to new working procedures involving specialists from the worlds of motorsport and road cars, resulting in the car taking just five months to be built.

Design and development has been put at the forefront with the new Clio R.S 16 to produce an expressive, sporty stance. To really make the vehicle stand out is Renault’s trademark Liquid Yellow livery with gloss black details to mirror that of the Sport Formula One Team’s R.S 16 F1 single-seaters.

The car’s next official appearance will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 23rd – 26th.
