Outlander voted best plug-in
What better way to conclude 2018 than being voted the UK’s best-selling plug-in vehicle? That’s the crown that was awarded to the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV recently at the headquarters of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, in Gloucestershire.
The no-compromise Outlander PHEV combines SUV versatility with 4WD and an electric drivetrain. This, along with a petrol engine for longer journeys, has been key to its success. Thanks to ultra-low emissions of 40.3g/km* and its EV range of 33 miles*, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV also attracts the lowest possible Benefit-in-Kind taxation rate of 13 percent.
Company Car and Van is a motoring magazine and website aimed at the managers of small to medium fleets and company directors with vehicle fleets less than 100 units. This is the inaugural awards presented by Company Car and Van, making the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV the very first vehicle to receive this award.
All this plus the fact the Outlander PHEV comes with a reasonable asking price and better quality both on the inside and out than previously.
Winning the award can only be the start of yet more exciting things for Mitsubishi during 2019 so watch this space.
