Mitsubishi Motors UK dealer network was treated to a promising insight into the future of Mitsubishi at the annual dealer conference in Geneva.
Just days after the world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross made an enticing entrance at the conference, which was exclusively held at the Kempinski Hotel and was attended by key figures from 130 Mitsubishi dealerships.
Although the exceptional SUV represents a bold yet profound forecast for the brand, guests present were informed of rumoured forthcoming developments in the model range – and the unveiling of a one-off desert Mitsubishi L299 – specifically built in conjunction with Top Gear Magazine which is set to feature in a major adventure story within the near future.
Lance Bradley, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors UK, commented on the company’s annual performance, Mitsubishi’s entrance into Nissan-Renault alliance, and their growing association with rugby across the UK. Furthermore, Toby Marshal, Sales and Marketing Director; Paul Brigden, Operations Director and Richard Weller, After Sales Director also made collective presentations defining prospects within their respective departments.
The black-tie awards saw Devonshire Motors in Barnstaple once again named Dealer of the Year with Glyn Hopkin in Colchester and Browns of Grimsargh jointly sharing the runner-up spot. Ultimately, Birchwood in Eastbourne was awarded ‘New Dealer of the Year’ with Mansell Mitsubishi in Jersey the runner-up.
