Safety that preserves your peace of mind. Awarded a 5-star NCAP rating, protection in the MGS6 EV works silently around you as a high-strength chassis creates a reassuring cocoon of safety. All models include seven airbags: front, side, curtain, and a central airbag, providing comprehensive passive safety for all occupants.

The MGS6 EV also delivers high-performance stopping power through an advanced braking system developed by Continental. The upgraded system on our rear wheel drive models is capable of braking from 62mph-0 in 36-metres.

MG Pilot Custom MG Pilot is an advanced suite of driver assistance systems to thoughtfully anticipate what lies beyond your sightline. The new MG Pilot Custom function allows you to personalise your preferred settings and recall them easily with each drive.

Electric Platform The Modular Scalable Platform (MSP), MG’s purpose-built electric architecture, works with an ultra-thin 77 kWh NCM battery to deliver strong efficiency and maximise cabin space. In the MGS6 EV, this set-up unlocks a WLTP combined range of up to 329 miles on selected rear-wheel drive models, giving you genuine long-distance capability in an all-electric family SUV.

Rapid charging When you need to top up quickly, the MGS6 EV supports rapid DC charging of up to 144 kW, allowing a 10–80% charge in around 38 minutes at a suitable public charger. That means you can add a substantial amount of range during a coffee stop on longer journeys, keeping downtime to a minimum while you make the most of the car’s long-range battery.

Home Charging For everyday use, a typical 7 kW home wallbox can recharge the 77 kWh battery from empty to full overnight, so you can wake up each morning with a full battery and the complete range at your disposal. Combined with the MSP platform’s efficiency and the car’s heat pump for improved cold-weather performance, this makes it simple to build a convenient home-charging routine around the MGS6 EV.
