Kia have celebrated two victories at this year's...
Glyn Hopkin celebrations continue following the opening of a new Kia dealership in Colchester on Tuesday, 2 May 2023.
The new dealership will serve residents of Colchester and the surrounding area with a full suite of services, including new and used car sales, servicing, parts and MOTs.
The new Kia Colchester showroom marks the third dealership to open under the partnership between Kia and Glyn Hopkin, with the other two dealerships located in Romford and East London.
Kia owners can rest assured that they will be in safe hands, with Glyn Hopkin being a well-respected and long-established dealer group since its inception in 1993, as well as having represented several other brands in Colchester since the year 2000, including Nissan, Renault and Dacia, plus Honda and Mitsubishi Authorised Approved Service Centres.
Glyn Hopkin’s new Kia dealership is conveniently located on the corner of Ipswich Road, just off the A120 roundabout and is fully operational, with a wide choice of new and used cars for sale. With Kia’s reassuring seven-year/100,000-mile warranty as standard on all new cars, along with fixed price Service Plans, there are plenty of reasons to buy a new Kia.
Work is also underway on a brand new state-of-the-art showroom that will feature Kia’s latest dealer experience and brand identity, currently being rolled out across the global Kia dealer network.
Unlike many showrooms, two distinct zones separate the interior space, comprised of a ‘customer zone’ with plenty of warm wood accents and comfy seating areas juxtaposed by a ‘display zone’, where the latest Kia models are showcased amongst cool grey urban tones.
Glyn Hopkin’s new-look showroom will be complemented by the brand-new Kia ‘Showcase’ interactive system. This offers customers an exciting opportunity to take an in-depth virtual tour of any Kia model. ‘Showcase’ demonstrates the different grades and colours of each Kia model via a 360-degree configurator. Customers can view a car from any angle, open the doors to explore the interior, and even add key accessories. In addition, ‘Showcase’ includes a useful video library introducing and explaining some of the more detailed in-vehicle technologies, including Kia’s electrified powertrains.
The exciting and multi award-winning Kia model range is on show at Glyn Hopkin Kia Colchester, including the electrified Sportage and all-new Niro, as well as the winner of both ‘European Car of the Year 2022’ and ‘2022 What Car? Car of the Year’ – the Kia EV6. Kia plans to have launched nine EVs in the UK by 2027, with the next new model due to arrive later this year; the hotly anticipated seven-seat electric SUV, the Kia EV9.
