Kia’s flagship electric SUV, the EV9, has been named 'Best Large Electric Car' at the prestigious 2025 Carbuyer Awards, solidifying its position as a leader in the Electric Vehicle market. Kia’s EV9 earned its top spot for its bold exterior design, refined interior, and rapid charging capability. This seven-seat electric SUV comes with both single and dual motor options and features a powerful 99kWh battery paired with 800-volt charging technology, making quick public charging stops highly efficient.

Launched in 2023, the EV9 is Kia’s largest electric vehicle to date and marks a significant milestone in the brand’s ‘Plan S’ strategy, which aims to introduce 15 electric models globally by 2027. This strategic journey, which began with the EV6, is set to continue with the highly anticipated EV3.
