Discover the next generation of electric vehicle with the EV6, Kia’s first dedicated electric vehicle which represents the brand’s new design philosophy that embodies our shifting focus towards electrification.
The overall winner of What Car?’s Car of the Year award for 2022, the KIA EV6 has met with universal critical acclaim – and the GT version is something very special indeed.
The EV6 GT is a very accomplished electric vehicle that offers fast-charging capability and a range of up to 263 miles. What’s more, it’s very easy on the eye, an absolute blast to drive and comes impressively specified as standard. Oh, and you might be interested to know that we supply the car with a seven-year warranty.
Entry-level Air trims ride on high-performance, super-efficient 21-inch alloy wheels and feature automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED rear combination lights and LED fog lamps. Despite its undoubted visual appeal, this pure-electric hot hatch is very practical, offering five-door access to a roomy five-seat cabin that features a perfectly flat floor. The car also possesses a minimum-capacity 490-litre boot and the flexibility afforded by 60/40 split-folding rear seats.
The KIA EV6 GT is powered by two electric motors which combine to produce 740Nm of torque and 577bhp, enabling blistering acceleration: 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds. The car’s electric drivetrain provides a serene motoring experience too, enabling you to get even more from a six-speaker sound system. Other standard-issue features include a 12.3-inch curved driver display and a 12.3-inch curved touchscreen infotainment system. The latter includes navigation functionality, Apple/Android smartphone interface, rear parking sensors and much more.
Rated a full five stars for crash-test resilience by Euro NCAP, the EV6 GT is loaded with safety tech. For example, Multi-collision Brake Assist minimises the risk of secondary collisions by autonomously applying braking pressure whenever necessary.
