Giulia Quadrifoglio Wins ‘Performance Car of the Year’ at the 2017 Octane Awards

The most powerful roadster ever created by Alfa Romeo, the Giulia Quadrifoglio has scooped the coveted ‘Performance of the Year’ accolade in the Octane Awards 2017.

The celebrity-judging panel of car experts and enthusiasts include Jay Leno, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and Le Mans legend Derek Bell were also involved in the decision to appoint the flagship sports saloon the title.

Powered by a 510hp, 600Nm Bi-Turbo V6 petrol engine, the award-winning Giulia Quadrifoglio musters a record-breaking 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds. Judges were seeking a model that appealed to head and heart, providing drivers with cutting-edge and advanced technology with a promising exhilarating driving experience for under £100,000 – and the Giulia Quadrifoglio fit the bill.

The Octane Award Judges, said: “This is Alfa Romeo back to its brilliant best with a car that’s good to drive as it is to look at. It’s sensationally fast; yet full of feel and with huge reserves of grip to match the big helpings of power.
