Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Sets New Record at Nürburgring

Powered by a 2.9 V6 Twin-Turbo 510hp engine, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio sets the new benchmark for a production SUV.

Boasting state-of-the-art technologies and Q4 all-wheel drive system, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio laps Germany’s 12.9-mile Nürburgring circuit in a record 7 minutes 51.7 secondseight seconds faster than the previous production SUV record.

Italian driver, Fabio Francia set the lap record for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio and previously set the fastest Nürburgring track record for four-door Giulia Quadrifoglio with a lap time of just 7 minutes and 32 seconds. Courtesy to its distinctive Italian style, advanced technology and innovative engines, Alfa Romeo’s first ever production SUV stands out extensively.

Advanced technology features unique to the range-topping Stelvio Quadrifoglio include a four-mode Alfa DNA Pro selector with Race mode, torque vectoring differential, Quadrifoglio-tuned adaptive suspension and cylinder deactivation to maximise fuel efficiency.

The New Alfa Romeo Stelvio is now available at Glyn Hopkin and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is set to join the lineup in the UK in 2018.
