the purchase of a used Honda Civic from your dealership and wanted to contact
yourself regarding this transaction.
I came into your dealership earlier this week with a pretty good idea of what I was looking for but, based on previous experiences of main dealer franchises, I was not hopeful that I would find it.
However I was fortunate enough to be dealt with by a member of your staff, Matthew Camp. Matthew, as I am sure you would agree, is a very pleasant, intelligent and engaging individual who immediately gave me his full attention and made me feel at ease in his company.
Having established what I required Matthew spent a great deal of time explaining the different options available and managed to source a number of used vehicles that might be suitable for my needs.
Having done so he accompanied myself on a test drive of one vehicle which, whilst fulfilling some of my requirements, was not exactly what I was looking for. Despite this Matthew conducted himself in a very professional manner and proved to be surprisingly well informed regarding the various specifications and options open to me as a customer of Honda. I say suprisingly based not on Matthew as a salesman but based on my previous negative experiences with other franchises. His depth of knowledge was impressive and coupled with his obvious love of the Honda brand made the experience very rewarding and informative.
Having returned to your premises Matthew sought out alternative models based on my comments and questions during the test drive. He found exactly what I was looking for which is the vehicle I purchased from yourselves today. This was despite this vehicle not yet having been received by yourselves at that time.
Matthew located a vehicle with an identical specification amongst your fleet and accompanied myself on a test drive of that vehicle. During this second test drive Matthew fully explained the additional benefits of this specification whilst also informing me of any potential negative aspects of choosing this specifications over the one that I had previously driven. This was refreshing and again demonstrated Matthew's extensive knowledge of your brand.
As a result I decided not only to buy this specification but that I would do so from yourselves or more specifically from Matthew. As is to be expected from someone like Matthew the transaction proceeded extremely smoothly without me once feeling pressurised into making my decision. Having promised to keep me informed over the next few days Matthew duly delivered on his promise and I was able to collect the vehicle at a date and time of my choosing.
Collection of the vehicle and subsequent completion of the relevant paperwork was as an enjoyable an experience as I have known whilst purchasing a vehicle in this way. Again Matthew explained everything to me in way that was easy to understand without once coming across as patronising or pushy. I have to say that he did an excellent job of which you and your company should be rightly proud.
I will certainly recommend Honda as a brand, your franchise and, in particular, Matthew in the future."
