The Eclipse Cross SUV takes some of its sharp and dynamic style from coupe's, evoking the image of a sprinter ready to explode from a crouching start position.
An expressive and dynamic face, the latest evolution of the Dynamic Shield concept.
The headlamp units are styled in a high-tech and functional design.
Its sharp-looking SUV coupe form with signature MMC styling employs flowing lines to distinguish itself from other SUV coupes.
The dashboard is shaped using horizontal lines and silver metal frames to help create a dynamic and sporty interior that still has the essence of simplicity and comfort.
The interior is also embroidered with a Driver Entertainment Touchpad Controller and Head Up Display allowing the driver to navigate the different types of interior specs conveniently and safely.
The Smartphone Link Display Audio system places a 7-inch display at the top of the center console where it allows the driver to see connected information and data safely and with minimal eye movement.
The Touchpad Controller is located next to the shifting knob just where the driver’s hand goes when the elbow is on the armrest to offer the simple and intuitive operability of the display audio system without having to move body position while the car is on the move.
The colour Head Up Display unit presents a transparent display of the information required to operate the vehicle within the driver’s field of vision.
Using millimeter-wave radar, Adaptive Cruise Control brings the car to a halt when the vehicle ahead stops, and a touch of the accelerator or flick of a switch will start it moving again when the vehicle ahead starts moving again.
Other technology present in the Eclipse Cross includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Rear Parking sensors and camera and Keyless operation and start.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross comes with many safety features as standard including Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Mitigation.
On the road the Eclipse Cross uses an electronically-controlled 4WD system that feeds the optimum amount of torque to the rear wheels depending on the driving situation and the road surface.
The Eclipse Cross has a choice of engines, they are the efficient 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol or 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engines with a new 8-speed automatic transmission and the new Eclipse Cross ticks all the SUV boxes.
