Geely’s new flagship plug-in hybrid SUV brings family space and connected technology, with a UK launch planned for January 2027.
The Geely Monjaro EM-i has made its European debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Set to become Geely’s flagship SUV in the UK, the new model combines plug-in hybrid power with a spacious cabin designed for everyday family life and longer journeys.
Glyn Hopkin customers can register their interest ahead of the planned January 2027 UK launch, with further announcements on pricing, specifications and ordering to follow.
The Monjaro EM-i uses Geely’s EM-i Super Hybrid system, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with electric power and a rechargeable battery. This gives drivers the option of electric driving for shorter trips, alongside petrol power for longer journeys.
Front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions have been announced. The intelligent electric AWD system adjusts power distribution to suit the conditions, while adaptive Continuous Damping Control suspension is available on the AWD version. UK model and equipment availability will be confirmed closer to launch.
At approximately 4.8 metres long, the Monjaro EM-i offers a 633-litre boot, expanding to 1,532 litres with the rear seats folded. Its cabin features supportive seats built with an 11-layer construction and storage for everyday essentials.
Front-seat heating and an opening panoramic sunroof are among the announced features. Optional ventilation and massage functions add further comfort, subject to the final UK specification.
A 15.4-inch central touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument display form the centre of the cockpit. Flyme Auto infotainment supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Announced options include a 25.6-inch head-up display and a 16-speaker Flyme Sound system.
Safety features announced for the model include seven airbags, Geely’s Battery Safety System and a 360-degree camera with transparent chassis view. Final UK specifications will confirm the driver-assistance equipment available.

Does it come with a charging cable and where can I charge it?
Geely’s UK model page confirms that a Type 2 Mode 3 charging cable is included as standard. It can be used with compatible AC home and public charging points. Connector compatibility and the charging point’s requirements should be checked before use.
