Dacia has done it again! The All-New Dacia Duster has been named Value Car of the Year at the prestigious 2024 News UK Motor Awards, continuing the brand’s impressive streak of accolades. This is the third year in a row that Dacia has claimed this title, with previous wins for the Dacia Spring and the seven-seat Jogger. The Duster’s victory comes ahead of its official UK launch, with deliveries expected to start in November.
Starting at just £18,745 or £117 per month on a 4.9% APR PCP deal, the All-New Dacia Duster has once again proven that affordable doesn't mean compromising on quality. With its robust design, modern features, and a price tag that rivals struggle to match, it’s no wonder Dacia continues to win over UK drivers and motoring experts alike.
The recognition comes from an expert panel of motoring journalists from The Times, The Sunday Times, and The Sun, who were impressed by the Duster’s balance of rugged capability and affordability. Rob Gill, The Sun’s Motors Editor, remarked, “That’s a hat-trick for Dacia. They may as well keep the trophy! Jogger triumphed in 2022, then Spring in 2023, and now the brilliant £23,000 Duster 4x4 takes the crown as Value Car of the Year. Proper mechanical 4WD with high ground clearance and attack angles, chunky tyres and five drive modes. Winter proof. Looks ace. Incredible.”
Driving.co.uk Editor, Will Dron, also praised the Duster’s evolution, noting “The Dacia Duster has always provided excellent value for money, but the latest version offers even more, with increased style, tech, efficiency and practicality, all for a price that leaves incoming Chinese brand managers scratching their heads. A thoroughly worthy winner.”
