When you want a bit more of an extreme driving experience, look no further than the newly updated Dacia Duster Extreme SE Special Edition.
Previously on sale in February this year, this new, range-topping Duster is an updated variant of the ever-popular Duster and is now available to order, with deliveries starting in the first quarter of 2023.
The Extreme SE specification injects some extra flair into the Duster’s exterior and interior design, with the headline change being a set of 17-inch black alloy wheels, which just so happen to go nicely with the Extreme SE exclusive Urban Grey paintwork.
There are seven other colours available, if preferred, but whichever colour you go for, the mirror caps, grille and roof bars get a grey Guartz finish with orange detailing.
On the boot, meanwhile is ‘Duster’ lettering in black and satin chrome.
The cabin reflects the exterior changes with orange and satin chrome air vent surrounds, a centre console trim surround in charcoal grey, piano door panel inserts and orange-stitched seats.
On the infotainment side comes an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration.
When you include climate control, keyless go, a multi-view parking camera, a blind-spot warning system, heated seats and an acoustic windscreen, all as standard, we can already assume taking one for a test-drive is very high on your to-do-list, and we cannot say we blame you.
Drivers can choose between the Duster Extreme SE with a choice of 90bhp, 130bhp or 150bhp petrol engines, a 115bhp diesel or a 100bhp bi-fuel unit, which can run on petrol and LPG.
Four-wheel drive and duel-clutch automatic gearboxes are also available, as with the standard Dacia.
The Extreme SE also marks a return for what was one of the model’s most popular specification levels. When the previous Extreme model was available, it claimed 20% of the model’s overall sales.
