The All-New Dacia Spring has been awarded ‘Best Car Bargain of the Year 2024/2025’ by the independent organisation Best Cars of the Year. The judging panel, which includes top car designers, engineers, industry executives, motorsport legends, and automotive media professionals, praised the Spring for its exceptional value and versatility.

Recently showcased at the British Motor Show, the All-New Dacia Spring quickly became a highlight of the event. With its competitive pricing of £14,995 on-the-road, it stands as the most budget-friendly new electric car in the UK. While the first deliveries are expected later this year, customers can already view and explore static left-hand-drive models displayed at Glyn Hopkin.

This accolade for the All-New Dacia Spring follows the success of the Dacia Jogger, which won the same award at last year’s ceremony. Dr Andy Palmer, one of the judges, remarked on the Spring’s win, stating: “The Dacia Spring is great for several reasons – particularly among those looking for an affordable, practical efficient electric vehicle. It's especially suited to urban environments and short to medium commutes. So, upon full consideration, I'm going with the new Dacia Spring.”

The All-New Spring is redefining the electric vehicle market by offering outstanding value, a robust standard specification, and practical usability. Customers can choose between two trim levels, Expression and Extreme, with a driving range of up to 140 miles (WLTP mixed cycle) or 186 miles (WLTP urban cycle).

Buyers have the option to equip their Spring with either a 45 hp motor or a more powerful 65 hp/48 kW motor. The vehicle's compact 26.8 kWh battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in less than 11 hours using a suitable domestic outlet, or in just four hours with a 7kW charger.

Standard features of the All-New Dacia Spring include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, a Media Control system with USB port, electric front windows, and remote central locking.
