Maintaining the Navara’s renowned off-road ability, durability and loading capacity the All-New Nissan NP300 Navara adds improved comfort and refinement to set a new benchmark in the one-tonne pick-up sector.
In-line with Nissan innovation, the new NP300 Navara comes with an array of intelligent technologies. In a sector that traditionally has been very slow to adopt the latest comfort and safety features, the new NP300 Navara has come out on top setting a benchmark for affordable technology. Unique to the pick-up market, the NP300 Navara comes with Around View Monitor and Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) to provide customers with more advanced levels of technology not usually seen in the pick-up market.
Further safety and convenience features for the NP300 Navara include: Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Keyless-entry, rear-view camera and parking sensors all of which have been designed to meet the specific demands of NP300 Navara owners.
The NP300 Navara has been designed to deliver a rugged yet sporty overall style, with a blend of curved and dipped surfaces for a dynamic and striking look. Nonetheless, Nissan’s signature V-motion grille and boomerang shaped LED daytime running lights provide distinctive Nissan design cues.
Don’t let the muscular exterior fool you – on the inside comfort levels have been raised significantly along with the introduction of a redesigned and improved interior. Every element of the cabin has been optimised to provide the best possible quality, comfort, space and practicality for both drivers and passengers of the new NP300 Navara. The new dashboard assembly has been redesigned from the ground up and now provides greater cabin space and a more open feel thanks to its sculpted appearance. New Spinal Support seats inspired by NASA provide superior comfort along with dual-zone digital climate control and new rear cab ventilation. A high-res colour display also comes as standard with the new NP300 Navara.
A key aim for the new NP300 Navara was to deliver a Crossover-style experience whilst improving refinement. Nissan have achieved this with the help of a new lightweight multi-link rear suspension system for the double cab model, which provides significantly improved ride comfort and handling as well as being 20kg lighter than the previous layout.
Knowing that towing is an important element for the NP300 Navara, the load carrying and towing ability across the range has been improved. With payload ratings of more than one tonne across the range and an impressive towing capacity of 3,500kg the new NP300 Navara is prepared for the toughest and most demanding journeys. In addition, owners also now have more flexibility when it comes to securing vulnerable loads thanks to Nissan’s C-channel load system.
The NP300 Navara’s new 2.3-litre dCi engine is the best yet, being the cleanest and most economical in its sector with up to 24% more efficiency than its predecessor. The new model is available with two powertrain options:a 118kW (160PS) and a 140KW (190PS), with the range-topping version also providing the option of a twin-turbocharged variant for the first time. In transmission the NP300 Navara also excels with the model available in the choice of two or four-wheel drive and the option of a standard six-speed manual or a new seven-speed manual.
If this wasn’t enough the new NP300 Navara will also come with a five year or 100,000 mile manufacturer warranty, providing further peace of mind.
