New 75th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler

The popular and successful Jeep Wrangler SUV has had major enhancements in celebration of its 75th anniversary.

In addition, and to celebrate the iconic 4x4s birthday, Jeep has also revealed details of a 75th Anniversary limited edition Wrangler for the UK.

The Jeep Wrangler’s existing 2.8-litre diesel engine has been updated to meet the Euro 6 emission standards while the car has been given a number of important and valuable updates. These include:

On the Sahara version updates include:

  • Front side airbags
  • Deep-tint sunscreen glass
  • 18-inch polished satin alloy wheels
  • 3.73 rear axle ratio

For the Overland version:

  • Front side airbags
  • 3.73 rear axle

And for the Rubicon:

  • Front side airbags
  • Deep-tint sunscreen glass
  • 18-inch Rubicon satin alloy wheels
  • Mopar slush mats
  • Black, heated leather seats

It is a Jeep tradition to celebrate key anniversaries with special edition models. The 75th anniversary is no exception with the legendary brand introducing a 75th Anniversary special edition offered on all models of the line-up including the Wrangler, of which only a limited 85 are destined for the UK.

The new Wrangler special edition model is based on the Overland model, but with several key differences such as unique exterior styling and part-leather interiors.

On the outside the 75th special edition Wrangler features a bronze-finished front grille and 18-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured dual top, Mopar slush mats, unique bronze and orange Jeep badging and a dedicated 75th Anniversary badge. The car comes in Bright White, Solid Black or Sarge Green colours.

Inside, the Wranger 75th Anniversary benefits from ‘1941’ embossed leather seats in black or saddle brown and tangerine, bronze accents on air vents and grab handles, sat nav with an Alpine premium sound system and deep tinted sunscreen glass.
