Jeep Renegade crowned 4x4 of the year for 2nd time

The hugely popular Jeep Renegade has been named 4x4 Magazine’s ‘4x4 of the Year 2017’, retaining its crown for the second consecutive year.

Rapidly growing in popularity on UK roads and vastly capable off-road, the Jeep Renegade has had an impressive year of sales. To date, more than 16,500 two-and four-wheel-drive Renegades have been sold in the UK alone and around the world the model has continued to scoop and array of awards.

In this latest recognition, the panel of expert judges at 4x4 Magazine were unable to find a contender capable of taking away the Jeep Renegade’s ‘4x4 of the Year’ crown.

Nigel Fryatt, Editor, 4x4 Magazine, said: “Since winning last year, we are now seeing many more Renegades on the roads here in the UK and in Europe. The Renegade range is comprehensive and every owner is getting a well built, well equipped and surprisingly spacious small SUV. The good news didn’t stop there for Jeep as the Renegade also won the ‘Mid-range SUV’ category, the legendary Jeep Wrangler took the ‘Hardcore’ class for the fifth year running, and the Jeep Cherokee won the ‘Top-Range SUV’ group.
