Jeep and its legendary spirit are returning to the renowned Geneva Motor Show with a stand packed with history and excitement with both new and old legendary models.
To celebrate Jeep Milestones, visitors of the Motor Show will be able to observe three outstanding classic models: a 1942 Willys-Overland MB, a 1946 Willys Wagon and a 1963 Jeep Wagoneer. As further confirmation of Jeep’s journey from past to present, the new 75th Anniversary special editions will also take to the stage.
The Jeep legend continues with the debut of Cherokee Overland priceclass, the new top-of-the-range model that combines the brands iconic off-road abilities and even more sophisticated and elegant features. Also in the spotlight will be the Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice Special edition which is starring in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie, as well as the exclusive Grand Cherokee SRT Night, claimed to be the fastest and most powerful Jeep vehicle ever.
To celebrate 75 years of its legendary history, Jeep has introduced a 75th Anniversary special edition offered on all models of the line-up and available in dealerships from the second quarter of 2016.
However, if you want one you’ll have to be quick as the models are being produced in limited quantities with only 8,000 units for the entire EMEA region. All celebratory models are distinguished by a new colour, a 75th Anniversary badge, Low gloss bronze rims, bronze and orange exterior inserts and exclusive interiors.
Visitors to Geneva will see four examples of the 75th Special edition model including the Renegade, the Jeep Cherokee, the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
With a combination of sophisticated style, elegant interiors, premium equipment and the brand’s legendary off-road capabilities the new Jeep Cherokee Overland is bound to make heads turn at the motorshow.
Showcasing at Geneva will be a Light Brownstone Jeep Cherokee Overland that is fitted with a 2.2-litre MultiJet II 200 horsepower turbo diesel engine .
On the outside, the model boasts a polished bright front grille, new body-colour door cladding and wheel flares, new 18-inch polished bright aluminium wheels, standard HID bi-xenon headlamps and Overland badge on the tailgate. Complementing its sophisticated look is a host of premium enhancements, including a leather-wrapped instrument panel, power front driver and passenger seats with four-way lumbar adjustment, a new steering wheel with wood inserts, anodized silver trim, Nappa leather ventilated and heated seats and more!
Also included on the Overland as standard is a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Crosspath Detection and ParkSense front and rear backup assist system.
The Jeep Cherokee Overland will be available in markets across Europe this summer.
The Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition which is featured in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie will be available in selected markets across Europe starting this month.
Based on the Longitude trim level, the Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition has a bold profile in a stunning Granite Crystal colour along with a host of polishes black painted accents such as the 18-inch alloy rims, the fog lamp and rear light cluster surrounds, the grille and the Jeep badge.
Powering the model is a 1.6-litre MultiJet II 120 horsepower engine with six-speed transmission.
Joining Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition is the Trailhawk version which is equipped with Jeep Active Drive Low traction system and an efficient 2.0-litre MultiJet horsepower turbo diesel engine. The car is coated with a Solar Yellow livery and black leather interiors and includes 17-inch alloy rims, tinted windows, skid plates, Hill Descent Control, tow hook, TPMS, two-zone climate control and an array of Mopar accessories.
Also taking the stage at Geneva will be a new limited edition of the fastest and most powerful Jeep ever, the Grand Cherokee SRT Night.
Aimed to make a stance the new model features a stealth-like appearance with the front grille bezels, B and C pillars and side window surrounds all coated in Matte Black. The front appliqué is Satin Black as well as the badging on the bonnet and rear lift-gate. Also in Satin Black are the 20-inch wheels which are designed to showcase the standard Brembo brakes.
Inside, the theme continues with luxurious Black Laguna leather seats with Silver accent stitching, leather covered door armrests and centre console including light Black chrome bezels.Three colours options are available for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night and include Velvet Red, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal.
Powering the model is a 6.4-litre V-8 engine that delivers 468 horsepower and 624nM of torque. As a result the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night can rocket from 0-62 mph in just 5 seconds and can deliver a top speed of up to 159 mph.
