Overland Model 4x4 Range Announced By Jeep

Jeep has expanded their popular Cherokee 4x4 range with the addition of a luxury new ‘Overland’ version.

The new top-of-the-range model made its debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, and offers sophisticated style, elegant interiors, premium equipment with, of course, the Jeep brand’s legendary off-road expertise.

Packed with an array of standard equipment, the new Jeep Cherokee Overland features a 2.2-litre MultiJet II 200 horsepower turbo diesel engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The forceful engine shoots the car from 0-62mph in a swift 8.5 seconds and provides a top speed of 127mph.

On the outside, the new Cherokee Overland model includes a polished bright front grille, new body-coloured door cladding, front and rear bumpers and wheel arches, new 18-inch polished bright aluminium wheels, standard HID bi-xenon headlamps and an Overland badge on the tailgate to finish. There are also a range of colours on offer.

Complementing its refined looks are a host of premium enhancements, including powered Nappa leather ventilated heated driver and front passengers seats with four-way lumbar adjustment, memory driver’s seat, a new steering wheel with wood insert, anodized silver bezels and vent surrounds and Berber floor mats. There is a choice of Morocco Black Nappa Leather, or a brand new Pearl coloured Nappa Leather finish both at no additional cost.

Entertainment comes in the form of a powerful Alpine Premium sound system, along with a Uconnect radio with 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth and GPS navigation.

Other features included as standard area stylish panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and ParkSense front and rear reverse assist system.

Pricing for the new Jeep Cherokee Overland starts at £38,745.
