JAECOO marked another major milestone in the UK as the flagship JAECOO 8 SHS-P made its Goodwood Festival of Speed debut.
Taking place from 9–12 July 2026, the four-day event saw the JAECOO 8 SHS-P tackle the famous Goodwood Hillclimb alongside the OMODA 7 SHS-P Noble Tech, which made its first public appearance in the UK.
The two models formed an exciting double debut for OMODA & JAECOO, showcasing the brands’ latest electrified technology, premium design and performance to thousands of visitors.
The JAECOO 8 SHS-P appeared in the prestigious First Glance Paddock before demonstrating its capabilities on one of the most recognisable stretches of road in British motorsport.
Its appearance offered visitors an early opportunity to see JAECOO’s flagship SUV in action, combining confident performance with the comfort, technology and versatility expected from a premium family SUV.
The JAECOO 8 is available with a practical seven-seat Luxury layout or a six-seat Executive configuration featuring individual second-row captain’s chairs, giving customers the flexibility to choose the interior that best suits their lifestyle.
Both debuting models are powered by OMODA & JAECOO’s fifth-generation Super Hybrid System.
The SHS-P plug-in hybrid system is designed to offer the benefits of electric driving during everyday journeys while retaining the flexibility of a petrol engine for longer trips. This combination makes the JAECOO 8 an attractive option for drivers who want to reduce their reliance on petrol without moving to a fully electric vehicle.
With all-wheel drive, a spacious and luxurious cabin and advanced driver technology, the JAECOO 8 SHS-P brings together performance, practicality and premium comfort.
Visitors were also able to experience the JAECOO 8 SHS-P and OMODA 7 SHS-P Noble Tech through exclusive customer drives on Molecomb Drive.
The fully booked programme gave prospective customers the opportunity to experience the latest Super Hybrid System technology and premium driving dynamics first-hand.
Across the wider festival site, other models from the OMODA & JAECOO range were also in action as part of the event’s official VIP shuttle fleet. It was the brands’ third appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and another clear demonstration of their continued growth in the UK.
