Honda has announced today the pricing and specification of the all-new Honda Jazz, which will be arriving in our showrooms in September.
The all-new Jazz has been refreshed, with the most noticeable being its updated front face, for a more modern and striking look. It's 95mm longer than the current model, and Honda has used this to make the interior even more spacious than the current model.
The new model has impressive boot space of 354 litres with the rear seats up, rising to 897 litres with the rear seats down. It will of course also feature Honda's Magic Seat system, allowing the rear seats to be completely folded flat and allowing for a huge variety of loading combinations. This gives the interior a maximum interior loading space of an incredible 2,480mm!
The engine range has all been updated too, and now will only be available with a new 102HP 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine from Honda's Earth Dreams Technology series. This new engine will be available with either a six-speed manual or a new CVT automatic transmission, and offers low emissions of just 106 g/km and fuel economy of up to 61.4 MPG!
The all-new Jazz line up has been refreshed to match the new exterior. All trim levels will now feature Honda's City-Brake Active system as standard, to help avoid low-speed accidents.
The new entry-level S models will be fitted with a high level of specification as standard, including air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, and automatic headlights.
The mid-level SE model adds front and rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, 15-inch alloy wheels, and Honda's Driver Assistance Safety Pack with additional advanced active safety aids.
The new Driver Assistance Safety Pack uses radar and forward and rear cameras, and adds Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Lane Departure Warning, and a High-Beam Support System.
The top-of-the-range EX model adds smart entry and start, automatic climate control, six-speaker audio upgrade, 16-inch alloy wheels and front fog lamps.
Both the SE and EX models will also be fitted with the Honda Connect infotainment system as standard in the centre of the interior dashboard. This Android-based system has a seven-inch touchscreen and uses an app-based 'pinch, swipe and tap' interface. Honda Connect gives easy access to internet-based services including web browsing, social media, Internet radio, and is available with optional Garmin satellite navigation too.
The all-new Jazz will be priced from £13,495 for the entry-level S model with six-speed manual transmission, and will be on sale at all of our Honda dealerships from September.
