Built on a completely new foundation, the Urban EV Concept was officially introduced by Honda Motor Co. The Urban EV concept car is reported to boast a range of advanced technology with an exterior appeal embodying a muscular stance hinting a sporty driving performance.

Honda’s vision for a world where mobility and daily life interlink is instilled in the dynamics of their profound innovation on-board the EV concept - the Honda Automated Network Assistant that acts as a personal concierge offering the driver recommendations and choices based on past driving decisions detected via emotions behind the driver’s judgements.

The management of energy transfers between the grid, homes and electric vehicles is set to re-establish with the introduction of Honda’s Power Manager Concept, revealed alongside the Urban EV Concept in Frankfurt. This system has the ability to store energy more efficiently, releasing electricity generated by renewable sources back into the home or selling it back to the grid.

The ‘Electric Vision’ strategy was launched by Honda at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and is successfully portrayed in their latest EV innovation to date – a production version of this car is set to arrive in Europe by 2019.
