The British-built Honda Civic Type R has been shortlisted for the popular What Car? reader award and is among the most eagerly anticipate car launches of 2017.
Expected in showrooms in the latter half of 2017, the next generation Civic Type R follows closely behind the current car model, which was launched back in summer 2015. Debuted as a prototype at the Paris Motor Show back in September, the mass production version is expected to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year.
With over 10,000 readers expected to vote on a list of 2017 car launches, the competition is fierce as this award is a valuable asset towards cars being brought to market in the next year.
Honda last won the award in 2015 when the HR-V claimed an impressive 25% of the 10,000 votes, and came a close second in 2016 with the NSX.
